What is Box?
Box is a content management and file sharing platform aimed at facilitating collaboaration across business teams. Cloud services underpin these functions, allowing for dissemenation of business-relevant content while maintaing strict user access controls and security through fine-grain permission settings.
Box offers several different subscription account levels: Personal, Business and Enterprise. These differ in the storage allowances, integrations and amount of versioning performed. Their content management system is built to ingest and seamlessly handle over a hundred different common business file types.
Extract Data From Box
Loome makes it simple to connect to Box and extract data for downstream systems such as an Integration Hub, Reporting Data Store, Data Lake or Enterprise Data Warehouse. In-built features allow bulk selection of all source tables/files to be automatically synced on a regular schedule, minimising data load size leveraging incremental logic.
